1. Book Ahead of Time for The Cades Cove Campground

RV campingThe Cades Cove Campground is one of the only campgrounds in the Smoky Mountains open year-round. This means you have plenty of opportunities to go camping throughout the year! If you are interested in a spring stay at the campground, we recommend booking your reservations way ahead of time. You can make reservations up to 6 months in advance! Keep in mind spots tend to fill up quickly during their peak season. The cost for individual campsites is priced at $25 per night for both tent camping and RV camping. 2. Plan To Visit The Campground Store Early for Rentals

One activity visitors love to do in the spring is bike around the national park, especially around Cades Cove Loop Road. The Cades Cove Campground Store has bikes that you can rent to experience the amazing views in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The bike rentals are first come first serve and come at a discounted rate during the off-season from November through March. If you are visiting during the peak season, expect to pay $10 an hour for kids 15 and younger and $15 an hour for ages 16 and up. They also do a  24 hour rental at $60 per day. There tends to be a line in the morning so we recommend arriving earlier than 7 AM to ensure you get a rental for the day. 3. Pack Appropriate Clothing for the Weather
